New Pattern: King David’s Jerusalem Passover Matzah Cover

Jerusalem Passover Matzah Cover Sewing PatternI’m really excited to introduce the newest Sew Jewish pattern, a Passover matzah cover featuring a machine appliqued cityscape of Jerusalem. The cover has three pockets, one for each of the pieces of matzah used during the Passover Seder, and it’s ready to steal attention from your Seder plate.

It’s available now in the shop: King David’s Jerusalem Passover Matzah Cover Sewing Pattern

The project works with cottons and linen fabrics, especially quilting fabrics, so it’s a great way to elevate your stash!

For my version I adopted a “Jerusalem the Golden” theme. Drawing from my stash, I chose an applique fabric that has gold-tone threads running through it, a shimmery white-on-white print for the cover, and white Kona cotton for the matzah pockets.

Thinking about making a blue and white version for the second Seder.

The pattern is available as a PDF, and you can get more details in the shop: King David’s Jerusalem Passover Matzah Cover Sewing Pattern
