The most romantic verse in the Jewish canon is probably “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine” from the Song of Songs. In my mind, the line always pairs with another line from that psalm:  “Their banner over me was love.” Both of those lines make me think ‘wedding canopy’. Continue reading →
