I know we’re in Purim mode at the moment, but we’ve just set the date for a Passover matzah cover sewing class at Beetle and Fred that you might want to put on your calendar. The class will be on Sunday, March 11 from 11am to 1pm. Beetle and Fred is located on Main Street in the charming riverside town of Beacon, New York. The cost for the class is $24, which includes all the materials.
The cover is a variation on a new matzah cover pattern I’ll be releasing Sunday as both a pattern and as a kit with fun matzah print fabric. That version sports the Hebrew word “matzah” appliqued on the cover, but for the class we’ll do a version without the applique so that we can finish it in one two-hour session. With the matzah print fabric, it looks pretty cool either way.
You can register for the class at Beetle and Fred’s website.
I now return you to your Purim preparations. Chag Purim Same’ach! Happy Purim!
